This page gives more information on some of the areas where volunteers are needed. |
Events Calendar Manager
Monitor publications and websites looking for entries for the calendar. Encourage members to post their shows. Help people with their entries and post items for non-guild members - encourage groups like lapidary clubs to submit information. Be familiar with the administrative procedures and follow through as required, including deleting posts more than a year old, to keep the calendar from slowing down.

Cafe Press Shop Manager
Manage the Cafe Press store. Monitor what is selling and what is not. Change up the offerings as appropriate. Make the store a hit!
Amazon Shop Manager
Manage the Guild's Amazon store. Find items of interest to wire jewelers and make them available through the guild's portal. Change up offerings as appropriate. Remind guild members, bb members, etc to buy through our portal when shopping Amazon. Make the store a success!!
Market Place Manager
Solicit memberships from various companies. Recieve their images and post them on the market place ads. Build momentum for the marketplace. Idea is that rather than buying magazines for ads, look here! Also, don't have to keep magazines just for the ads.
Web Editor - Links & Resources
Manage the links and resource pages of the website. Verify links are still "good". Add resource and eye candy links. Look for new links on forums, magazines, web searches etc. Keep the area complete and relevant.
WebZine Editor
Develop a magazine for web publication on the order of Wire Artist Jeweller. Work out the details of how we get tutorials with professional pictures and text. Work out how we get "features" and other contributors. Figure out the budget needs. In short, give birth!!
Start a Local Chapter
Figure out what it is going to take to make local chapters work. Set up policies/procedures. Make it "replicatable" for others to follow.
