The International Guild of Wire Jewelry Artists, Inc. is a non-profit organization that celebrates ALL forms of wire art jewelry. Our members create quality wire jewelry using a diverse range of techniques, including border wraps, wire sculpting, chain maille, knots, textile techniques, and freestyle techniques unique to the artists using them.

Wire art jewelry, with a tradition harking back thousands of years, is making waves in the contemporary art scene. Our guild has a mission to gain greater visibility, prestige and respect with the buying public, upscale stores and galleries, and the "mainstream" art world.
We enjoy sharing our knowledge and encouraging others. The "Artist Forum" is a great place to pick up ideas, tips, techniques and other topics of interest to wire jewelry artists.
In the members areas, the guild is building a library of articles and tutorials on wire jewelry techniques and business resources that is available on-line to all members. Over time, we intend to create group/volume opportunities and discounts in insurance, merchant services, advertising, promotion, workshops on marketing and other business skills, conventions, exhibits, etc.

For many master craftsmen, sharing knowledge and skills with beginners is a simple matter of payback - remembering what it was like to struggle, and knowing how valuable sound mentorship can be.
